Our Farm Produce

Features at local markets, Apollo Bay, Birregurra and Kawarren Market, held on the 4th Sunday of each month at Echidna House. Just a short walk from our farm.

The Great Ocean Road

The Great Ocean Road runs just south of us at Lavers Hill both to Apollo Bay and west to Port Campbell.

We have many short and long walk options around this area of the Great Ocean Road and the Ship Wreck Coast. Along with those, of course, through the Otway Ranges, forests and bush lands. Walks like the Loch Ard Gorge and Twelve Apostles, Blanket Bay, on the edge of the Cape Otway National Park, and the Melba Gully Walk to see the glow worms shine like stars in the dark. The Beechy Rail Trail runs just past our farm and you can walk, run or ride your bike to Colac or to Gellibrand, Beech Forest and Lavers hill. Many more beautiful scenic walks can be taken by the trekker to see waterfalls, gorges, fern gullies and Australian native wildlife at the same time as getting good healthy forest air and exercise. Wineries & Brewerys

Visit Otway Estate (Prickly Moses) and Forrest Brewery. Along with world class restaurants (such as Brae in Birregurra) and Cafes. Farm produce outlets and gourmet trails. Beech Forest - waterfalls, sequoia. Forrest, nice day trip, Gourmet Food Trail - Day Drive.

Our stay was a perfect rest from the busy Great Ocean Road. The farm itself is very peaceful, relaxing and you can also spot some Aussie native animals during a nice evening walk around the farm. Our hosts were very friendly, we had a very nice chat with Clinton after our breakfast (we were spoiled with delicious homemade jams/honey). We will come back for sure! For the love of good simple food and nature 🙂 Thank you 🙂
